GOLD FOR THE KATZ GROUP
The KATZ Group has received a gold rating for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities from the EcoVadis rating agency, placing it among the ranks of the world’s most sustainable companies.
EcoVadis is an independent CSR rating platform for global supply chains that enables companies to assess suppliers’ sustainability credentials. EcoVadis sustainability experts evaluate suppliers’ activities in the core subject areas of environmental protection, working conditions, fair operating practices and sustainable development. The KATZ Group achieved an above-average rating in all four categories – and its total score of 62 points was significantly higher than the worldwide average of 44.1 points. That places our company among the top one percent of all international companies rated by EcoVadis.
Procurement organisations at global companies such as Nestlé, Heineken and Coca-Cola Enterprises appreciate the importance of a supply chain that meets their CSR standards. To make this information easier to access, EcoVadis runs an online portal of supplier scorecards that measure their commitment to sustainability criteria.
